The Impossible Project
29 December 2010, 17:37
When the news broke that Polaroid film was going to be retired by Kodak, I think everyone could hear the collective cries around the world. Amongst those cries was a group from the Netherlands who did not want to let go. So from the ashes was created The Impossible Project. Not just a following but also a manufacturing factory that makes, exhibits and supports the craft of instant film photography.
The Impossible Project gave a few select photographers the first batch of manufactured film, from those they created the exhibition The Impossible Collection. You can go online to see the collection, shop or find storefronts/gallery spaces.
