Diana has joined BRAVE by way of the University of Houston. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2011 with a Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelors of Science in Environmental Design with a minor in marketing.
In an architecture studio collaboration with the School of Art Graphics Communication Program, Diana helped change the face of Japhet Creek through amenities constructed of dissolvable materials and recycled goods. Dis(solve): The Japhet Creek Project received the 2010 Mayor’s Proud Partner Award as well as the 2011 Society for Environmental Graphic Design Merit Award.
Diana also studied in Italy with the College of Architecture’s summer study abroad program based in the Santa Chiara Study Center in Castiglion Fiorentino. The program allowed students to travel to different cities and think critically about preexisting context as constraints on design. Since graduation, Diana has acquired valuable experience working in residential and commercial firms in Houston. Furthermore, she has collaborated with professors/designers in creating architectural renderings to be used as marketing media for Sun-Stop and Powerlots.
