Sorensen Bridge featured in Texas Architect Magazine
17 November 2009, 16:27
The Sorensen Bridge is featured in the current issue of Texas Architect magazine alongside the other winners for the 2009 TSA Studio Awards. The project was an exploration and addition of a covered structure to an existing bridge spanning 50 feet across Sandy Creek near New Ulm, Texas. The covered structure, comprised of recycled tube steel mounted on a steel skeleton, is unique in the fact that it was designed to be permeable in order to allow for the elements to pass through.
