Pics of the Week: Beautiful Imperfection

In an architecture office, we constantly focus on delivering perfection. There is a general bias towards producing clean lines and establishing relationships that form the foundation for the overall organization. However, there also tends to be a natural attraction to the informal occurrences of our surrounding. Transformations during the process of aging or distortions from the norm, which happen in both nature and in the built environment, can be captivating to the eye. Here we have captured objects and places with imperfections that, in given situations, cause you to stop and take closer look.
