New York City based design studio, AHL&CO, recently redesigned the new logo for the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston. The logo is an instant win in my heart as it is uses CMYK for its colors and the shapes, representing the architecture of the building, are abstract representations, not a literal image, as it was previously. The new branding of the museum has stretched across all of its collateral, from their marketing pieces to their website. Each piece strong in design aesthetic and I think what most people expect from such an stimulating part of Houston’s art community.
