Must See: Olibreizh Photostream

While dreaming about potential touristic destinations for a future family adventure, I came across a series of collaged photos on Flickr. I found these to be really good examples of the practice of assembling numerous photos to create a full picture rather than using a panoramic shot approach. The obvious difference with straight panoramic photos, besides these being a lot more clear, is that the collages offer the author a creative oportunity at the time of assemblage.

Other good examples of this practice include the photo used by the Rice design Alliance for their announcement of the 2010 Sally Walsh Lecture by Spanish architects Mansilla & Tuñon, as well as other photoramas composed by Christian Sheridan.
