Book Review: Le Corbusier - Le Grand
11 March 2009, 14:52
How do you make a book that contains the story of a person who has arguably had the biggest influence on architecture as we know it?
You make it big… Very big. Instead of being another biography, or an overview of Le Corbusier’s career, Le Grand is a collection of personal documents which allow a very unique insight into his life with very few intrusions or interpretations. And as someone mentioned, “it is a bit too voyeuristic”.
Currently we are using this book as a counter weight on our seesaw. Joking aside, it would be worth building it a stand!
