A couple of weeks ago, Houston hosted Gloworama at the George R. Brown Convention Center. It is the city’s first illuminated art car parade and party and featured the art cars decorated with all types of lights, illuminated decor, and yes…pyrotechnics. The art cars paraded down Avenue De Las Americas, in between Discovery Green and the Convention Center and ended with a fireworks show in front of over 8,000 spectators. In addition, there was a large scale 3D projection show on the façade of the Convention Center. Through the use of three high definition projectors, and state of the art video technology, the team of TVP and LD Systems was able to create stunning displays, animating what would otherwise be a plain building façade.
