Audio ::: Rusuden

Over the years I’ve dipped in and out of the world of Electronica music and have stumbled upon quite a few great artists/composers. In a genre that is composed of a vast array of beats and samples, some argue that there is a fine line between jarring, repetitious noise and an inspiring soundscape. Style, becomes the essential element in bringing out that additional dimension and is what sets each composer apart.
Independent artist, Justin Morgan, better known as Rusuden, has the ability to not only traverse this fine line but also transform his style to create a distinct audio experience with each album.
I was first introduced to Rusuden via online radio and was hooked on the track from his second album, Warm Human Antennae. After digging around for information (Rusuden does not exist in Wikipedia), I discovered that he has been composing for quite some time. With five album releases, Rusuden has managed to stay within the independent music circuit while maintaining a strong internet presence. His latest album, Death by Din Sync, illustrates his dedication to his art as he recorded the tracks on mainly vintage machines. His website gives a more in depth look at the thought process for each track and the equipment used.
With albums that are themed around outer worldly experiences to, what some describe as, “chilled future jazz electronics”, Rusuden successfully blends elements from across the electronic music spectrum to generate tracks that stimulate both the mind and body. His music can be streamed and purchased via Music Site and Homepage.
I recommend listening to tracks from the first couple albums, Warm Human Antennae and Formulae.
