After weeks of having promised Angela to post an Audio on the blog, here it is: While organizing my iTunes library last night, I got inspired when I found this band that I really like, but had somehow  have forgotten about.

Dispatch was a band formed at Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont. After finishing college, the band relocated in Boston. Their sound is difficult to categorize due to the variety of genres that compose it. The band was active from 1996 to 2002, after which they and had some reunions. During one of these, they performed what they called “the farewell concert” in Boston, considered the largest independent music concert in history.

After breaking up, Chad Urmstron, the band’s lead singer, formed another band called State Radio. This time with heavier political content and punk overtones added to the repertoire. Hope you enjoy!
