A couple weeks ago, the Architects of Air made a stop in Houston to showcase their luminarium, “Exxopolis”. Essentially it is a series of pneumatic structures, connected by several tunnels. The domes are constructed out of a colored plastic that allows light to penetrate, illuminating the space within. From what I understand, only 4 colors are used to generate the multicolor atmosphere inside. Although most of the areas were as hot as a sauna, it was worth the wait.
